BIRD & BIRD RECEPTION DESK

ThreeSixtyDS were invited to assist Bird & Bird – a city-based legal firm occupying a 12 story
building – to address issues with their ground floor reception space. Originally designed with a
hostess-style reception, this proved unsatisfactory for the reception team and did not
adequately represent the values of the company. A new reception desk was requested to
deliver a statement element within the large lobby space without being overwhelming. The
opportunity of a new desk allowed additional improvements – as well as making it DDA
compliant and adding a hearing loop – an independent heating system and full power/data
connectivity provides a suitable hub for the reception team. Additional storage completes the
overall design intended to support the designs of desks on other floors of the building.
