Scope of Works
Nestled next to Buckingham Palace and serving as the residence for the Guards Division, Wellington Barracks underwent a substantial lighting transformation to further enhance its status as a distinctive historic landmark.
Challenges
Given the historical significance of the building, meticulous planning of working practices was crucial. Challenges also arose in seamlessly incorporating existing hardware and systems into the new lighting design.
Design Solution
Introducing a dynamic lighting scheme, Wellington Barracks now stands illuminated with a vibrant palette of colours. The previous exterior lighting was not only highly inefficient but also relied on outdated technology. This presented an opportune moment for us to implement an efficient lighting solution, aligning with Wellington Barracks’ sustainability goals and delivering notable energy savings.
